The end of the year is coming soon and looking back at all the activities of the Atelier Blondie Creations, I am delighted to see the result is extremely positive !
The creation last May of my blog « Les carnets de l’atelier Blondie » opened new horizons for the Atelier.
Through my blog I could establish new contacts, discover an awful lot of talented crafts people and passionate miniaturists all very creative and enthusiastic.
It really is fulfilling and I feel I made a big step forward in communication.
The readers of my blog could discover not only my past creations - I still have a lot in stock –but also my latest ones , what was made in the Atelier and the miniature fairs where I exhibited.
The next step for me will be to make it possible for the numerous potential customers abroad and the readers of my blog to buy on line.
Since June I organized non-stop different workshops and I already have numerous projects starting January 2010.
As the workshops are just over, this year I couldn’t do anything for Christmas and so in order to wish you happy celebrations let me show you a few pictures of scenes made in workshops in 2002 and in 2003.

Noël - Christmas 2002
The first scene represents Santa Claus in an very special situation !

Before going out to deliver his presents he notices a big hole in one of his socks… !

He hopes he will convince Merry and Christmas the two mice to help him darn his sock as he sews very poorly !!!
I asked Helena to prepare a "Santa kit" (!) for us which could fit my project and she guided us in a workshop.
Noël - Christmas 2003
The second scene presents Mother Christmas in her kitchen getting the Xmas meal ready.

The ham looks delicious and the turkey is just roasted as it should be...
As for the previous project I asked Helena to imagine a doll's kit for a workshop with her.

View on part of the kitchen.
Getting gingerbreads and muffins ready.
One more thing about this scene. I was told that a very similar scene was
used in a workshop by somebody else and pictures of it were even reproduced
in a miniature magazine. I suppose that one more time I should feel
flattered to inspire so much other miniaturists...
